DOE means double open end. It is commonly used in standard industrial housings where both ends are open and sealing is achieved through gaskets and housing compression.

How do I choose the right pleated filter cartridge material?

Start with chemical compatibility and filtration purpose. PP is widely used for water and general liquid filtration. PES is common for high-flow fine filtration. PTFE is selected for aggressive chemicals, solvents, air and gas. Nylon is suitable for selected solvent and chemical filtration. Glass fiber is often used for pre-filtration and higher dirt loading.

What micron rating should I choose?
